DEVELOPMENTAL OPTOMETRIST
Jenessa L. Hartman OD, FCOVD
Dr. Hartman is dedicated to helping our patients improve their vision and eliminate any visual roadblocks to their success in life.
What motivates her? “Having seen the impact that vision disorders can have on my patients’ lives, I want to help as many people as possible so they don’t have to continue struggling.”
Dr. Hartman received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Kansas and her Optometry Degree (OD) from the Southern College of Optometry. She is a fellow in the Optometric Vision Development & Rehabilitative Association, as well as a member of the College of Syntonic Optometry, the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Hartman is the only board certified functional optometrist in the gorge. She received board certification after extensive continuing education and post-graduate training in the diagnosis and treatment of binocular vision disorders, strabismus and amblyopia, visual perception, and vision problems associated with acquired brain injury (including concussions). Dr. Hartman is delighted to provide this specialized care to children and adults in the Columbia River Gorge.
